Changing Summertime

With every season we see change in the world around us, and summertime is no different. This season has been full of change in my life. Saying goodbye after many years, watching one of my best friends get married, and taking the step towards embarking on a new adventure. It's definitely been a busy time. But I must say I am glad. I am really in the mood for change now... the biggest... where I live. Mainly my apartment. For so many years I teased my sister about shopping for furniture and as I called it, getting old. Well I guess at 24 I am an old maid. I love to daydream about the things I would do with a space to call my own... a BIGGER space I could actually decorate. For now I am just left dreaming and scheming. Maybe someday that will change. I find myself in a particularly good mood as I write this blog. I attribute that to the fact that I get to see Miss Emily this weekend! :) I welcome the chance to play with her and ignore the concerns and worries that plague my mind. If you know me at all, then you know I have trouble letting go of the things that I worry about but can't change. I'm working on this. In the meantime I will keep channeling all my energy into that crazy town full of neon dreams where I want to be.
