Pushing Through the Climb

Having one of those mornings well I feel so blessed by the life God has given me. Katherine and I are getting ready to go hang out with friends and watch The Ugly Truth and spend the day seeing Savannah. Blessings: a wonderful family, friends, Savannah (I know I don't always see it as a blessing), the ability to see, and most important the new day.

It good to have a morning like this after a rough week. Like I am waking up a new person and I've pushed through the final climb for the week and putting it behind me. (Sorry for all the sports metaphors, I am watching the Tour de France). The passion and determination of the riders is an inspiration of devotion.

Excited about the movie and Olive Garden and then Savannah. I always enjoy walking around downtown, it makes me feel peaceful! Can't say the same for driving in downtown Savannah... While out and about a reminder to beware the mosquito, the rabid animal, and the gators - interesting set of stories at work. You never know what's going to be thrown your way.
