Catching Up Where We Left Off
I realize that it's been a bit since I made a new post, sorry about that. Crazy times around the holidays. Traveling here and there, seeing this person and that one, it's enough to make you take a break from social media... well almost.
We are 3 days away from my sister's due date... a very exciting day for all. My Dad and I got into a discussion about the baby the other day and how we feel like we already know her, Emily Catherine. We all talk about her like she's out in the world... Emily felt like having a dance party at 5am or Emily doesn't like onions. Ok, so maybe my sister is the one who talks like that, hence the comments, but she's pregnant so I expect it.
The holidays were full this year which, let's face it, is how I like them. I can relax in Savannah, but in Kentucky I like to squeeze in as much as possible. It was great getting to see my family and spend time with everyone. Granny made all my favorites, which probably derailed my weight loss goals, and it was great having more time with everyone. I feel like the Kramer bunch needs to start getting together more, it's just so much entertainment. Surprisingly my Dad won for craziest comment for the night, and let's just say I felt sorry for my niece Courtney who'd brought her boyfriend along. Hil-ar-i-ous! I sang my favorite song EVER for Christmas Eve this year. It's "I Believe" by Natalie Grant. Not sure why but it spoke to me on SO many levels. Hoping to get a DVD of that soon.
With a new year comes new goals and plans. For now the big one is to continue to eat healthier and exercising. At least now I have a goal to work towards. My roommate and best friend from college, Mara, is getting married in the summer. So between now and then I need to lose the weight and get a tan for my canary yellow dress. Joy! Seriously though, I am REALLY excited for her and Shelby.
There is the latest on me. I promise to write again later... and to try and make it a little more insightful and less rambling!
